Personal Projects

The following two personal projects of mine — Humans Of Boston and 365 Days Of U.S — endeavor to organize various types of oral knowledge (stories and thoughts) by putting them into an archival form using photographs that have been taken by me. Interestingly, I assume that what knowledge will be transmitted largely depends on how orated contents stored in this public building where all the records are kept will be interpreted by different people at different times. Although I am not sure how much the authenticity of the knowledge — which should have been  lively, personally and directly delivered by the orators (the subjects of the photographs I took) to the receivers — will be unintentionally altered by putting uttered information into written records, I hope that this archived repertoire could be some useful references for people to interpret and understand these two projects in their unique ways, and ultimately some knowledge could be constituted and transmitted through them.
